Ralph Stucky Scholarship
The Ralph Stucky Scholarship is intended to help young men who will be attending Iowa State University. Due to the rising cost of education, organizations like DU have a responsibility to reach out and assist fellow students in meeting their educational goals. One $500 scholarship will be given each school year to an incoming freshman. The recipient of this award will be chosen based upon:
- Academic qualifications
- Philanthropic or community involvement
- Familiarity with the founding principles of Delta Upsilon.
The recipient shall have a minimum High School GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. All applications must come with a copy of high school transcripts. Scholarship finalists may be contacted for an interview. You need not join Delta Upsilon Fraternity or any other Greek institution to be considered for this scholarship. However, we hope that applicants will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and our desire to Build Better Men by providing opportunities for leadership, philanthropy, and academic success, while creating life-long friendships.
One-half of the scholarship amount will be provided 30 days after the beginning of the 1st semester, and the 2nd half of the scholarship will be awarded 30 days after the beginning of the 2nd semester only if the recipient finishes the first semester with at least a 3.00 GPA.
