Comments from Pledge Brother Thomas Sullivan ’80: Chris Bacon went by the name of “Hey Bac”. Chris was from Marshalltown. He graduated from high school there in 1976. He graduated from Iowa State in 1980. Wife was Marti. His children were Andrew and Meredith. Chris had a kidney transplant in 2009. Older brother Greg ’74 was also an ISU DU. Chris lived in Cypress, Texas. His family ran the Tastee Freeze in Marshalltown. We made regular runs there during ‘Work Week’.
